Kittyhawk Sydney

Kittyhawk is a high volume cocktail bar focused on great cocktails and exceptional experiences. The venue is designed around the Liberation of Paris in 1944 and brings together an old world charm with modern and delicious food and beverage offerings.

Kittyhawk is centrally located in Sydney’s CBD, and is walking distance to public transport and taxi ranks and other popular Sydney destinations if you want to make a night of it. They cater to people from all walks of life and strive to make everyone feel welcome.

Kittyhawk has a number of function spaces available for hire seven days a week with spaces to suit groups of 1 to 175 (350 across both levels). On Thursdays, Kittyhawk’s main bar patrons (including any functions in the Lounge or Conservatory) are treated to free live music from their resident band playing a range of music, including jazz, swing and blues.

LOUNGE
This is Kittyhawk’s relaxation space. Sit back and relax and let them do all the work for you. The Lounge is run table service and seats groups of up to 60 seated (80 cocktail). There is also the Little Lounge, which fits 15pax cocktail style any night except Thursday. Depending on the size and day of the event, there is no minimum spend, room hire or service charge. You can book a table for up to 9 online via their website.
CONSERVATORY

Soak up all the sun’s rays in this beautiful spot by the windows that can be opened so you feel the breeze. This space is suitable for groups of 17 – 100 people, although if you are a smaller group, you might need to share.
For speedy service, you will be assigned your own section of the bar although table service can be organised in some circumstances. The low tables can also be replaced with cocktail tables, if your group would prefer to stand and mingle.

THE OFFICER’S MESS
For those who enjoy their privacy, The Officer’s Mess upstairs is a totally exclusive level with access via your own private lift. You’ll have your own bar and wait staff and the room furniture can be adjusted to suit a variety of configurations, including seated and cocktail style events.
This space is suitable for groups up to 150. The versatility of the room’s furniture means The Officers’ Mess is suitable for both large and small groups.

Kittyhawk itself is available for exclusive hire seven days a week. It has a capacity of 175 pax and is perfect for cocktail style and some seated events.

ENTIRE VENUE
You can also hire both levels of the venue for a combined capacity of 350pax. The spaces are separated by fire stairs and a private lift and are only one level apart so not hard to get between but potentially not suitable for those who need to be in the same room, e.g. if you want to have a DJ, speeches, etc.
